Small Business Spotlight: Gena Bradshaw - Bradshaw Personal Fitness

A new episode of Small Business Spotlight! One of my favorite topics to blog about. Today I am featuring my friend and colleague Gena Bradshaw from Bradshaw Personal Fitness. It's actually a coincidence that today also happens to be International Women's Day. Who better to feature than a bad ass who is involved in more things than I can count on one hand. I have a huge appreciation for small businesses and entrepreneurs, but who doesn't love a girl who takes action and makes shit happen to create her own success? Gena and I met while working together at Lifetime as Personal Trainers and both of us have since moved on. She is a former college athlete who now does personal training, nutrition coaching, assistant coach for Holy Trinity Track, models in her spare time, does all of the marketing for the family business, has been nominated for Woman of the Year of Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, I'm probably missing things too.

I want everyone to listen to Gena's story, it's very inspirational with what she has had to go through with her health and how she's come out on top and is dominating right now. ALSO, VERY IMPORTANT. We will be having a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society starting this month. As soon as that is live I will be giving all the details on this blog and all of my social media accounts. I will be on the team and helping raise as much money as possible for a great cause. This is not some stupid ice bucket challenge for likes. Please donate and help out. It would mean a lot to her and I want my friend to succeed. If you have a business of your own, make a donation under the business! We can all find ways to give.

After I spoke with Gena we did another interview with her and her parents to talk solely about their fitness business and talked about Covid. Part two will be posted in another few weeks, but this episode is focused on Gena and what she has been doing, and how she juggles all of the things she is currently involved in. I hope everyone enjoys, we could have talked for hours and I'm sure I'll get her on again in the future for updates. Ladies, I hope this inspires you to go out and get what's yours!
